Stakeholder:

The Northern British Columbia Tourism Association offers many different cooperative marketing opportunities to help you promote and grow your business.  

What the Association can do for you?

• To expedite the exchange of ideas, knowledge, experience and information between our stakeholders and the business community.To promote and service our region that it benefits all our stakeholders equally providing for a flourishing tourism industry.
• To act as a liaison with the appropriate departments of the government of BC to facilitate meaningful discussions between all concerned parties to further the primary purposes of the association.
•  To ensure the presence of our region at various trade and consumer shows to promote our region and to promote our stakeholders.
•  To request and facilitate funding from Tourism BC for Cooperative Funding Program for our stakeholders.
• To assure the presence of an organization qualified to speak for the local tourist communities within our region
• To ensure tourism interests are presented and reflected at local, regional, provincial and federal levels.  
• To undertake specific projects, studies and other forms of action as deemed necessary from time to time by the directors of the association to implement and carry out the above purposes.
